Review: Primal Vision

Felhasználói ismertető  - Donald - Goodreads

Gottfried Benn was a tremendously influential writer in his time. This is a great selection, unfortunately it is merely a selection, leaving the anglophone reader waiting until someone bothers to translate the full works excerpted in Primal Vision. Teljes értékelés elolvasása

Felhasználói ismertető  - Valerie - Goodreads

A szerzőről (1960)

The publication of Gottfried Benn's first volume of poems, Morgue, in 1912, established him as a member of the European avant-garde and an enfant terrible of expressionism. A Berlin physician, Benn brought to his early poems a medically based obsession with the phenomena of physical and mental decay and a radical disillusionment with the bourgeois world.
